This is SO COOL.

There’s this new procedure called NearVision Conductive Keratoplasty (NearVision CK) and it’s like Lasik, but without the pain, lasers, cutting, recovery time, etc. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted.

It’s done in the optometrist’s office in 20 minutes and it works almost instantly. This woman was followed by Fox News to the Stahl Eye Center where she was in and out probably within an hour tops. Sure it’s expensive ($1,500 not covered by health insurance) and it might need to be done again (since the eye is always changing as we age), but I totally want it. I’m nearly blind as a bat without my contacts in. I probably spend more than $1,500 a year on contacts!

They have three locations in New York… ooh! That’s only a five hour drive away. I need to look into this some more, for sure!

    I have contacts, my eye sight is pretty bad. I don’t know if I could do it! I would be way to scared, but I hope you get too! Good luck with it. =]

    Ahh I want to so bad but… I would probably chicken out. Plus, that’s a looooot of money up front… saving my pennies! Some day! :D
